Our achievements in Raman microscopy underscore our expertise in optical innovation. We’ve developed a groundbreaking Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) technology, uniquely blending Raman imaging with Fourier Transform spectrometry. This fusion leads to an integrated Raman imaging camera that integrates a robust common path interferometer, offering new Raman imaging possibilities.

Our system delivers images a thousand times faster than conventional Raman microscopes with a spectral resolution of 8cm^-1 . Notably, our technology has successfully detected melamine in powdered milk and monitored the distribution of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in Afebryl tablets, showcasing its potential in ensuring product safety and quality.

To look into active burners, we deployed our shear interferometer technology. This allows for an accurate view on small stress locations in the materials under heave thermal load.

Optical Coherence Tomography

Our Optical Coherence Tomography technology has been customized so it can scan larger arteries to measure blood flow, lumen and other clinical parameters. In addition, this OCT scans those parameters in 3 dimensions.

A custom laser scanning confocal microscope was developed and built for ESA to investigate cell behavior in orbit. In addition, we had to make sure it could withstand the extreme space conditions.

Ex vivo blood vessel measurement

We built an ex vivo blood vessel measurement device based on Optical Coherence Tomography, so you can look deeper into the skin and even below. This allows measuring blood flow rates in 3D with lumen sizes.

Athermal Infrared optics for Earth Observation

Coupled with a 1024 x 768 microbolometer sensor, the developed infrared optics covers a spectral range going from 8 to 14 ยตm. The key benefit is enhanced spatial resolution with a Ground Sampling Distance of 57 m for a flight altitude of 450 km. At this altitude, one single image covers a field of view (FOV) of 57 km (swath) x 43 km. Another advantage of the optical configuration is passive thermal compensation (no active focus). Typical thermal resolution is around 100 mK. The optics have been successfully qualified on the ground for vibration and thermal vacuum environments. This technology is relevant for different applications, such as Forest Fire monitoring, water stress management for agriculture or surveillance needs.

Wide FOV Camera Lens for Space Environment

The origin of this imaging technology comes from the need for the monitoring camera of the BIOMASS mission. It was then adapted to the specifications of the MMX mission ((Martian Moons Exploration) in order to be integrated on a rover dedicated to Phobos exploration. Finally, it was selected for the cameras of the MSR-ERO (Mars Sample Return โ€“ Earth Return Orbiter) Programme.

Differential Interference Contrast (DIC) is a well-known optical microscopy technique to improve the contrast in unstained transparent samples. Our design IP ranges from visual to IR images with space optimization in the same optical column.
