Purchasing Assistant
Your Role & Challenges
- As a Purchasing Assistant, you play a key role in coordinating purchasing activities, supporting supplier performance, and continuously improving procurement processes in a dynamic high-tech environment.
- You take ownership of the purchasing lifecycle, from sourcing and supplier negotiations to delivery tracking and supplier performance monitoring.
- You process and monitor purchase orders, ensuring all required technical documentation (drawings, specifications, certificates, ….) is complete and compliant.
- You coordinate closely with suppliers to track deliveries, obtain missing documentation, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- You support supplier quality activities by managing supplier-related non-conformities, returns and corrective actions.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools, including Odoo purchasing module enhancements and procedure updates.

Your Profile
- Degree in a relevant field (supply chain, logistics, economics, engineering, ….), or equivalent through experience;
- At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain activities within an industrial environment, including hands-on experience in supplier negotiations, with a strong appreciation for documentation accuracy and procedural compliance.
- Exposure to purchasing strategies and supplier performance management would be considered an asset.
- Fluent in French and English, and comfortable working with MS Office tools and ERP systems in a professional environment.
- Affinity for industrial and technical products, and an interest in working with technical documentation and specifications.

Mechanical R&D Engineer
Your Role & Challenges
- Under the supervision of the Mechanical Competence Center Coordinator and in close collaboration with the Project Managers, you Contribute to the design and development of advanced optical systems for the Space, Defense, Life Sciences and Industrial sectors. You design high-precision mechanical assemblies and systems taking into account optical, thermal, structural and manufacturing constraints from the earliest stages of the projects.
- You develop innovative mechanical concepts, perform 3D modelling, detailed drawings and complete technical documentation (BOMs, design reports, calculations, justification of design choices, …).
- You define appropriate tolerances, fits and functional dimensions, ensuring the required precision, reliability and manufacturability of the assemblies.
- You participate actively in prototype assembly, integration, testing and troubleshooting, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- You interact with suppliers for technical discussions, custom-made parts and quotations.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of mechanical solutions while balancing technical performance, manufacturability, costs and planning.

Your Profile
- Master’s degree in mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical design and development within an industrial R&D environment.

- Practical knowledge of mechanical design principles, including dimensioning, tolerance stack-up, Mechanical Fits and strength of materials.
- Comfortable interacting with suppliers and following the manufacturing of custom mechanical parts.

Electronics Engineer
Your challenges
- Under the supervision of the Electronic Competence Center Coordinator and in close collaboration with Project Managers, you contribute to the development of advanced optical systems serving demanding markets (life sciences, space, defense and industrial markets).
- You play an active role throughout the entire product development cycle, from electronic design to system integration and validation. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help transform innovative concepts into reliable and high-performance equipment.
- More specifically, your responsibilities include:
- Designing electronic circuits and PCBs using Altium Designer.
- Developing wiring architectures and cable harnesses, including associated -technical documentation.
- Selecting electronic components and supporting technical trade-off decisions.
- Participating in the integration, wiring and assembly of prototypes and systems in cleanroom environments.
- Performing functional testing, troubleshooting and validation activities.
- Contributing to product certification and qualification activities.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, schematics and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- You work hand in hand with colleagues, customers and suppliers to solve technical challenges, drive projects forward and ensure successful delivery in terms of performance, quality and schedule.

Quality Assurance Engineer – Defense
Your challenges
- Investigate recurring non-conformities and lead Root Cause Analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone Diagram), FTA, or equivalent approaches.
- Define, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustainable quality improvements.
- Act as the main Quality interface for a strategic Defense project, maintaining regular interactions with the customer and participating in weekly quality reviews.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements through the review, validation, and maintenance of project quality documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance, product quality, and process efficiency.
- Monitor project milestones from a quality perspective, ensuring alignment between production schedules, quality gates and customer delivery expectations.
- Contribute to broader Quality Assurance activities across the organization, including non-conformity management, internal audit follow-up, quality onboarding, and the deployment of best practices.
- Demonstrate a hands-on mindset by supporting Quality Control activities when required, including inspections, testing, and verification activities in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
